1/18 GT Spirit - Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS (Maritim Blue)
The Porsche 964 Carrera RS is the stripped-back, purist’s interpretation of the 964 generation, reviving the legendary "Rennsport" nameplate for the first time since the 1970s. Launched in 1991, it was a homologation special for the Carrera Cup series, featuring a lightened chassis that shaved nearly 155 kg off the standard Carrera 2 through the use of an aluminum hood, thinner glass, and magnesium Cup wheels. Its 3.6-liter air-cooled flat-six was blueprinted to produce a punchy 260 hp, paired with a close-ratio G50 transmission and a lightweight single-mass flywheel that allowed the engine to rev with startling urgency. Devoid of power steering, rear seats, and sound insulation, the 964 RS offered a visceral, "no-filter" driving experience that prioritized mechanical feedback and agility above all else. Today, it is revered as the definitive analog bridge between Porsche’s classic heritage and modern performance
