While the matte-black 1985 Porsche 930 is famous as the "Genesis" of the Rauh-Welt Begriff movement, it has undergone decades of upgrades that have transformed it from a stylish street build into a specialized track weapon. Weighing a mere 980 kg (2,160 lbs) thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber for the doors and roof, the car's most significant mechanical evolution is its 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, which has been tuned to produce a screaming 360 hp. This "Upgraded Edition" is easily identified by its distinctive Idlers tire stencils, the massive "Kamiwaza" double-stack rear wing, and a cockpit that is almost entirely gutted for racing, featuring a complex roll cage and a single Recaro seat.
